We are excited to wrap up 2018 by announcing the latest metaphactory release. The 2.4 release comes with various extensions to our platform components, including:
- Single sign-on via SAML2 to allow for connecting to secure enterprise environments
- Extended federation via Ephedra, incl. integration of new data sources using declarative SQL and REST connectors; improved configuration for federation over repositories managed by the metaphactory Repository Manager; and improved performance of Join operations
- Improved integration with different RDF databases
- Extended documentation for using declarative input forms within the search framework, and for advanced layouting using CSS grids and sidebars
The new release also includes various highlights for end users interacting with the metaphactory, such as:
- Enhanced diagramming via Ontodia, incl. bulk selection, snap grids, styling, usability improvements
- Visualization of spatial data incl. handling of various WKT geometries, clustering of markers, and coloring
