• Support for the latest LLMs & enhanced UX: metis' foundation has been strengthened with support for the latest language models, including GPT-5.1, GPT-5.2, and Gemini 3 Pro. To improve the user journey, we have added streaming and markdown support in the chat interface, providing a more fluid and readable conversational experience.

• Beta: Embedding-based retrieval & vector search: We are introducing support for embedding-based retrieval in the Search & Discovery Agent as a beta feature. This cutting-edge approach leverages vector technology to understand the semantic meaning of search queries, delivering more accurate results than keyword search alone. Key tools include a Semantic Vector Search Tool for improved document discovery and a Semantic Entity Lookup Tool for precise entity linking, enhancing both the speed and relevance of users' search experience.

• AI-powered Semantic Modeling Assistant: The metis-powered assistant has been further optimized to assist in the reuse of existing ontologies, helping teams leverage established standards and internal assets more effectively.

Streamlined Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA)

Following the official launch of the EIA application in metaphactory 5.9, version 5.10 delivers important updates to the APIs used for managing physical data assets:

• Optimized APIs: Improvements to the APIs for Physical Data Source Schemas and Physical Objects include simplified and compacted input formats, making it easier for architects to connect the business layer with underlying data.
