We’re excited to announce a technology partnership integrating metaphactory—our enterprise knowledge graph platform—with the SAP HANA® Cloud Knowledge Graph Engine, with planned availability of metaphactory on the SAP Store in H2 2026.

The integration connects metaphactory's visual semantic modeling and AI-assisted ontology tools directly to HANA Cloud's multi-model database, bringing together the best of both worlds:

• A high-performant, enterprise-grade multi-model database 

• A powerful, user-friendly knowledge graph modeling and visualization layer 

Organizations can now move from connecting and managing data to modeling, exploring, and deriving insights on a single, governed, standards-compliant foundation. The partnership addresses a desire from customers to enable modeling and visual exploration in a consistent workflow, with HANA Cloud storing and querying the knowledge graphs.

metaphactory capabilities now accessible with HANA Cloud include: 

• Visual semantic modeling: A user-friendly interface for creating, extending, and documenting ontologies based on open W3C standards (OWL, SHACL), accessible to both technical and non-technical users.

• Knowledge discovery and exploration: Rich interactive visualizations, graph exploration and semantic search that let users navigate and make sense of complex relationships without writing queries.     

• Governance and lifecycle management: Versioning, editorial workflows, and collaboration tools that make knowledge graphs production-ready and enterprise-grade.     

• Open standards foundation: Built on RDF, SPARQL, SKOS, OWL and SHACL, ensuring interoperability, reusability, and flexibility across industries and use cases

To get started with SAP HANA Cloud Knowledge Graph Engine and metaphactory, you’ll need:

• An active SAP HANA Cloud instance

• Knowledge Graph Engine (Triple Store) enabled on your HANA Cloud instance

• A metaphactory instance — via hosted trial or self-managed deployment (Docker or AWS marketplace). Get your hosted trial here.
