metaphacts attains CFIHOS conformance for its CFIHOS on metaphactory solution
We are delighted to share that CFIHOS on metaphactory has recently achieved conformance with the Capital Facilities Information Handover Specification (CFIHOS), a key specification developed under the IOGP's Joint Industry Programme 36 (JIP36).
This achievement validates the capability of the metaphactory knowledge graph platform to streamline the management and handover of complex asset information across the entire supply chain—from facility operators and contractors to equipment manufacturers.
CFIHOS on metaphactory is a comprehensive solution designed to move beyond traditional document-centric information handover. It transforms the CFIHOS data model into a dynamic, interconnected Knowledge Graph, leveraging W3C standards to ensure data consistency, traceability and contractual compliance throughout the entire project lifecycle.
While standards such as CFIHOS are essential for industry-specific interoperability, they can sometimes define new data silos. The true power of a Knowledge Graph platform is that it acts as a 'standard for the standards'. By being fundamentally based on Semantic Web principles, metaphactory provides the necessary mechanisms—designed for linking and integrating data from many different, distributed sources—making interoperability a core design characteristic, not just a feature.
