To reinforce this commitment, metaphacts has been independently audited and certified to comply with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (Information Security Management System) standards.

Below, we provide a summary of the scope and details of this certification:

ISO 27001:2022 — Information security, cybersecurity and privacy protection — Information security management systems

Digital Science’s group operations and product divisions Dimensions, ReadCube, Overleaf, Symplectic, Figshare, metaphacts and Altmetric, which are involved in the development and provisioning of data and technology solutions related to the research lifecycle and enterprise, has been certified in accordance with the Statement of Applicability v2.1 dated 10th October 2024.

ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) and IEC (the International Electrotechnical Commission) work together to create global standards. National bodies that are members of either ISO or IEC contribute to the development of these standards through technical committees focused on specific areas of expertise. These committees often collaborate on topics of shared interest. Additionally, other international organizations, both governmental and non-governmental, work alongside ISO and IEC in this process.

For independent verification of the certification, further details are available on the NQA website (https://www.nqa.com/en-gb).
