A recent paper published by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and presented at Biodiversity Next 2019 describes how metaphactory and Wikidata are implemented to build an Integrated Flora of Canada and create a community space for collaboration and discussion.
The resulting knowledge graph integrates information from multiple data sources, such as Flora of North America and Flora of Manitoba. It can be accessed through the metaphactory end-user interface, which provides built-in templates, visual exploration, graph exploration and faceted filtering capabilities, as well as complex query mechanisms.
