We'll be attending this year's Semantic Web in Libraries Conference (SWIB23) taking place on September 11-13 in Berlin, Germany and are looking forward a presentation by Richard Wallis from Data Liberate on the National Library Board of Singapore's journey to an operational linked data management & discovery system.
The presentation will explore the NLB team's ambitious vision for a management and discovery system built upon linked open data and the web, encompassing the many resources they manage. It will discuss the requirements and challenges addressed by the NLB and its team of partners (metaphacts, Data Liberate, Ontotext and Kewmann) for providing an integrated and reconciled view of five separate source data systems based on a unified data model capable of supporting a public discovery interface.
The presentation will be part of the Data Modelling track taking place on September 12 at 3:30-5:00 pm CET.
