If yes, we want you to join our team as a Support Engineer at metaphacts!
As a Support Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in enabling our customers to succeed with our knowledge graph technologies, supporting diverse use cases in areas like data integration, semantic search and advanced analytics.
Your responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for technical inquiries and support requests from customers.
- Diagnose, analyze and resolve software issues, ensuring timely and effective problem resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our knowledge graph technologies, cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-based deployments (e.g., EKS).
- Assist customers with Git setup, configuration and workflows to integrate with their development pipelines.
- Configure and troubleshoot Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for user authentication and security.
- Provide guidance to customers on deploying, configuring and optimizing our knowledge graph solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering and product teams to address bugs and implement feedback from customers.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, FAQs and support resources to empower users.
- Support internal teams during product rollouts and assist in testing new features to ensure quality.
Your Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Background
- Deep Understanding of web technologies (APIs, HTTP, HTML, CSS, REST).
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure or GCP) with hands-on experience in running docker containers on Kubernetes and services like EKS and ECS.
- Experience with configuring SSO solutions (OIDC, OAuth, SAML) and integrating them with enterprise systems.
- Basic familiarity with knowledge graph concepts (RDF, SHACL, OWL) and semantic technologies as well as graph database technologies (GraphDB, Stardog, Neptune, AllegroGraph) is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
- Customer Focus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences in English.
- A proactive, service-oriented approach to addressing customer challenges.
- Optional/Bonus
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python or JavaScript.
